raymac Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 Just realised mine is not working ,have had galaxy 2 months now <_< so why does the bulb failure light not show and what is it like to replace, do i have to remove the trim around the light or can it be done with trim in place? Quote
Masked Marauder Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 It just unclips and pulls out, but as there are about six bulbs in there, I am going for broken wires in the right hand side of the tailgate between it and the main body of the car! Quote

You mean sommit like this, the fun I had yesterday?http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/scirocco/Galaxy/Wires.jpg Just hope it isn't as drastic as mine was! <_< It was a bloody nightmare! Quote
Masked Marauder Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 Mine the wires were burnt out all the way back to the high level light! It was the culmination of several strange problems including the main brake lights working with no fuse in! A few lengths of the right thickness wire and some soldering, heatshing and insulation wrap and all is fine now. But why some one would bypass the fuse box because the fuse kept blowing due to an obvious short is beyond me! Quote
